First is Nicholas Sandford's Gifts of the Hunter. Every account is eligible to recieving what we refer to GOTH's, they are gifts that you trade to Nicholas for 25 of his daily preferred item. The gifts can be opened and items from it may be applied towards other titles for example Sweet tooth, Drunkard and Party animal. Sometimes you're fortunate and get a black or white dye that is worth a lot of Guild Wars 2 gold.

Mystic Forge is a further way of earning Guild Wars 2 gold. But keep in mind, mixing items in the Mystic Forge is sometimes a bit of a gamble, you could earn Guild Wars 2 gold or you may lose Guild Wars 2 gold. Some people opt to open the gifts and sell the items, this may take you more Guild Wars 2 gold in the long term. However, you will probably spend more time finding buyers. There's lots of items to mix in the forge, for instance, you could mix 4 dyes of your identical quality for the opportunity of it turning out to be a greater quality dye. But for the most time, you'll only lose money doing it.
